NEW DELHI: AIIMS MBBS entrance examination for admission to the MBBS Course of 2018 for AIIMS MBBS New Delhi and other eight All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) in two days. Each day has 2 shifts this means paper was conducted in 4 batches 2 batches per day. The examination was held in 155 cities all over India. Duration of examination was three and half years. The examination was held on 26th May i.e. Saturday and 27th May i.e. Sunday.
AIIMS MBBS PAPER VIEW:
‘A student who had prepared diligently for the exam will be able to answer close to 80% of the paper without any challenges,’ said Mr. Vinay MR, Chief Content Office & Teacher, BYJU’S – The Learning App. If we go through difficult level the paper was slightly vent towards the difficulty level. Physics part was the most difficult and time consuming part amongst the all the other three parts (Biology, Chemistry and GK). Other sections were slightly difficult and who have prepared well for these three domains should be scoring well. Physics contains more questions which was seems to be more challenging than others, in case of chemistry organic seems to more challenging.
Overall view of paper was not only to target the student theoretical knowledge but the analytical capabilities which need deeper study of subject. The focus point was students thinking, catching, unmolding and mental power.
The AIIMS MBBS is one and only competitive exam which contain 200 objective type questions. Physics Chemistry Biology (Botany and Zoology) each carry 60 questions and GK and High Order Thinking Questions carry 20 questions.
No proper syllabus blue print was given for the exam just it was informed that paper would be coming from Science up to 10+2.
Marking scheme carry 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/3 marks deduct for each wrong answer. And no loss or gain of marks on not answering the question.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 RESULT:
The AIIMS MBBS entrance results will be declared on June 18 2018. The results will be released on aiimsexams.org.
The exams results for each shift will be prepared in form of Raw Scores, Percentage or Percentile separately for each of four subjects (Physics, Biology, Chemistry and GK).
